Cnc prototypes
We are able to machine plastic or metal prototypes from your 2D or 3D CAD data.
Should you need to get a prototype in the correct material then CNC machining is a great option.
It will not only give you more realistic performance as its in the correct material, but has the added bonus of being more accurate than traditional SLA or SLS prototyping technologies.
Exploer is able to machine parts up to 1050mmx550mmx460mm or should your part be larger than this we can “fabricate” and assemble to provide a larger part.
Explorer can also offer general CNC machining of short runs of components’ for production. We are able to machine patterns, jiggs and fixtures in various materials or offer very specialized machining for complex components.
CNC prototypes is preferred choice when you require function, tight tolerances and when parts must be in a specific plastic or metal production material. Ideal for low volume mechanical prototypes or high visual mock-up models. Materials available for CNC Prototyping are ABS, Acrylic, Polypropylene (PP), Polycarbonate (PC), Nylon, PU Foam and Chemical wood.
